Pam Emigh Murphy's creative non-fiction is a Notable Essay for The Best American Essays 2015. Her poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and selected for the Best of Vine Leaves Literary Journal 2013. She is a staff writer for Art House Press, a journal celebrating artists in upstate New York. Her work has been published in Little Patuxent Review, Hippocampus Literary Magazine, Vine Leaves Literary Journal, Fresh Paint Magazine, New Verse News, and The Voices Project. She has co-authored two articles published in The Alpenhorn, a national magazine publication for the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and recipient of the prestigious Maxwell Medallion Award from the Dog Writers Association of America. She is a founding member of the writers group Straw Mat, whose collaborative playwriting has been performed in the 2014 and 2015 Fringe Festival at the MuCCC Theater in Rochester, New York.
